I cannot print in landscape orientation (not enough memory)

There is currently an issue with Chrome.

This means that attempting to print articles in "landscape" orientation in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome will not work. Usually, you should receive the following error message:

A new update from Chromium should fix this issue.

In the meantime, however, it is possible to print in portrait orientation in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

You just need to follow these steps:

  • Select the page you want to print

  • Click on the button with the three dots and print the pages

  • When a new window opens, press CTRL + P

  • Please ensure that the orientation is Portrait and not Landscape (see screenshot below)

Please note that the print option in Safari and Firefox should work normally in both portrait and landscape orientation, as the issue only affects Chromium-based browsers (e.g. Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome).

If the problem persists after following the steps above, please send us an email at support@readly.co with further details.
